Phil Mickelson coping with psoriatic arthritis - 10-August-2010
World number two Phil Mickelson has revealed that he is suffering from psoriatic arthritis. It is an inflammatory joint disease which can cause stiffness, pain and lack of movement. For the second successive day at the 139th Open, Lee Westwood has been left to rue what might have been after posting a round of 17 pars and just one birdie. Kent golfer among early Open pace setters - 15-July-2010
Herne Bay golfer Steven Tiley has made a dream start at the Open Championship, carding a first-round 66 to sit six-under-par as one of the front runners. Tiley, representing Royal Cinque Ports in Deal, made the perfect start at St Andrews as he birdied the first and he then picked up a shot at both the fifth and sixth holes.
